This is how you survive conflict. Like a warrior. Terrance Popp is not a writer, he's a warrior- I'm grateful for the words he put to page because they are more true the mere language we use to communicate. He gives you raw experience and wisdom uncut through the lens of someone trying to impress. Popp is a warrior, the writing is a gift to you.
This book comes at you raw, tells it like it is, and does not let you complain about it. Many people can write about war, but not many this well.The separation from soldier and warrior is also significant. It's folly to confuse the two, or denigrate either.Overall, this is the kind of book that I wish was available when I was a kid. Young fellows today should consider themselves lucky that this book exists. I will endeavor to make it known to them wherever i should cross paths with one. Especially those who mull about the warrior's path.
Excellent insight, but he needs an editor really, really bad. The lack of editing takes away from an otherwise superb written mentoring program for dollies and civilians.
The only things wrong with this book are as follows. Spelling, grammar. Done. I really enjoyed this book and took heart to it. Would like to buy Popp a beer or 30.
Outstanding read. Just by reading you will lose one homo suspicion point. Waiting for Popp's series on MGTOW or Zombies.
I read the book in a day. It was an easy and fast read and it has some great advice and life lessons in it. I highly recommend this book for anyone that is in the military, out of the military, military spouse, anyone thinking about going into the military, or anyone interested in reading a good book. Thank you First Sergeant Popp, for this book it has helped me more than you know. CLEAR THE WAY!!!
